Willow Foster

"It's never too late to be what you might have been." -George Eliot

Willow ignored the call of the circus all her life only to discover running from that siren song eventually led her (by then a stay-at-home mom), to standing atop a platform 30 feet in the air, strapped into a harness and about to grab a flying trapeze bar for the first time. After one exhilarating pass, she was hooked.

That kicked off her circus journey in 2010, challenging her attachment to her fear of heights as she practiced on silks, rope, and static trapeze. During her time training at the School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts (SANCA), she started focusing her attention on silks and lyra, and continues to primarily work on these two apparatuses in private training. An avid aerial student-turned-teacher, now she also delights in watching her fledgling Spinderella birdies find their own wings. She teaches because she wants you to know that it truly isn't too late to follow your bliss, and who knows, maybe this is it!
