Special Classes

Flux in Movement $30 per classFrom $16 per visit with 20 Class Pass passPurchase required to enroll

What is Flux in Movement?
A movement based class that is themed so that the mind and body work together to create shapes to tell a story. Light choreography is taught so that the flow becomes second nature. We encourage you to step out of the realm of the everyday pole, aerial or gym class and take a step toward the unknown. This class was designed for everyone at any level of fitness. If you have an injury, please speak up so that the instructor can give you modifications for your body.

What can I expect to use in the class?
Be prepared to touch the pole, no tricks (unless specified by instructor) , we use the pole to create shapes and sometimes aids in leading the flow of the choreo. Chair, lots of floor work, wall, curtains - we use tangible items to create a space where the body can move around and through. It allows us to step away and get lost.

Do I need to have experience?
No, not at all, just the willingness to sign up and show up. The instructor will take care of the rest. Depending on the degree of difficulty to new students, we will send out a notice before hand as to the "level" of the flux class. That way you are well prepared. But if you didn't get a notice, bring your flux bag and be ready for anything!

What do I bring to class?
We encourage you to have a FLUX bag - a grab-and-go bag that includes heels, knee pads, a tee shirt that covers the shoulders, and leggings. Other items may include items such as a tank top, flowy shirt, shorts or leg warmers. Once you have attended a couple of Flux in Movement classes, you can find items of inspiration to add to the bag.

Make sure to tag us and your favorite moments in our Flux in Movement classes with hashtag #whogivesaflux!

Spin Drills $25 per classFrom $14 per visit with 5 Class Pass (for 1-Hour Classes ONLY) passPurchase required to enroll

This class is fast-paced and fun-filled as we revisit spins that seem long forgotten. We will work both sides of the body. The right and left side of the body do not always speak the same language, therefore, it gives us a brand new feel to old familiar spins. We will work on our entry or exit out of the spin to further challenge your spin knowledge.

Pre-requirements: some pole experience will be necessary to take this class. Basic spin knowledge of fireman, forward hook and backward hook will be helpful. You do not have to be proficient on both sides.

This is a special class. You can use your class pass towards this class.

Students will also have a more extensive warm-up that will help for advancing in their pole practice that includes conditioning and stretching. Stretching gets the body warmed up and conditioning sets us up to get ready to explode into our spin and grow your working knowledge about the spin and your body. We will also utilize muscle engagement to prep students for an introduction to inversions (hello, abs!).

Students can expect to start breaking in their skin with pole sits and bracket/split grip holds. Spinning mode will also be introduced to students in this class as well as floorwork that will incorporate more intricate tricks off the pole.

Recommended for: This will be a great class for students who have completed an Intro to Pole/Pole Body Love series or an equivalent to the material covered in this series and are looking to advance in their practice and learn something new.

Pole 2-1 Progressive Climbs and Static Holds $30 per classFrom $16 per visit with 20 Class Pass passPurchase required to enroll

It’s about using all the right muscles (a combination of core, upper body, and skin contact) to polish your climbs up the pole with a focus on the forearm brace climb. We will also start to refine our form by working on pointing out toes for beautiful lines.

Conditioning the body includes stretching and breaking in tender skin so that you may advance your pole journey. Students who have mastered the pole sit can expect to be introduced to other pole sit variations and holds mid-pole and off the ground.

Recommended for: This will be a great class for students who have completed the Progressive Pole series or an equivalent to the material covered in this series and are looking to review and polish their climbs and static holds on the pole.

Silks 1-2 Stamina and Sequencing $30 per classFrom $16 per visit with 20 Class Pass passPurchase required to enroll

Now that you've built up some silks strength and are familiar with the basic vocab, we can start refining the skills you've unlocked while introducing more to add to your bag of tricks. From your foundation skills that you picked up from Intro to Silks, we'll be able to explore new shapes and transitions, introduce split strand tricks (those using each strand of the silks separately), and expand on the conditioning you've been rocking thus far so that you can achieve even more. As your endurance and abilities increase, we'll play with sequencing skills together.

Pre-requirements: Familiarity with the foundation skills covered in Intro to Silks or instructor approval is required.
